Raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Gary began his career as an auditor for Ernst & Young, following his BBA in accounting and minor in law from University of Oklahoma. After 19 years of finance as a CFO and controller for several companies, Gary moved to Asheville, North Carolina and was the owner of a Bed & Breakfast while starting an insurance practice. During the past 20 years as an insurance broker, he served a year as Development Director for a world-wide missions ministry, International Commission. This led he and Sue to taking short term mission trips to Brazil and Africa. Other trips include: Canada, Israel, Hong Kong, Philippines, Uruguay and their latest, Ecuador.
Born in New Jersey but raised in Asheville, North Carolina, Sue has spent 25 years in ministry through Feed the Lambs Ministry. She holds a BA in Biblical Studies with an emphasis on Chaplaincy and Counseling. She served in prison ministry for 9 years and also served as a volunteer chaplain in law enforcement for 19 years. In 1982, Sue was selected as a top ten finalist by Columbia Records in a vocal competition. She also served as a background vocalist on a number of albums to include Squire Parson and the kingsmen. One of her fondest memories is singing with Larnelle Harris the song, “I’ve Just Seen Jesus” in Asheville, NC.
Sue writes a devotional blog called Feed the Lambs. Feed the Lambs was established by Sue in 1982, primarily as a music ministry, sharing the Gospel in Word and song.
When Gary came into the picture, Feed the Lambs expanded to radio, teaching, writing, counseling – using media as a means to encourage believers in their walk with the Lord.
Through the years, Gary and Sue have met many fine saints of God who have enlightened them. Our desire is to continue to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ – to encourage others in the same.
